I started painting with watercolors a couple of years ago and quickly realized that I was accumulating more artwork than I was willing to hold on to. In 2020, I decided to mail the watercolors out to friends and family all over the world. The watercolors sometimes include poems on the back, and every now and then I’ll add spritz the paper with essential oils to add something extra to the experience. Painting is meditative for me, but I am not in a position to hoard my work any longer, particularly when I know that it brings others joy.
